DC denies permission for PTI rally at Minar-i-Pakistan, LHC told

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court was informed on Friday that the delegate chief denied consent to the Pakistan Tehreek-I-Insaf (PTI) to hold a public meeting at Minar-I-Pakistan on Aug 14.

Partner Promoter General Sattar Sahil presented a report for the DC, saying the PTI couldn’t be permitted to hold the convention at Minar-I-Pakistan for the sake of security.

He expressed that the DC had likewise denied authorization for assemblies to the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party and the Pakistan Public’s Party.
